Back to blogging: If you see this please say hello!

Hey guys, it’s Marron! I hope everything’s going pretty well with all of you. I haven’t posted anything up here because I’ve been very busy lately working as a full-time writer and doing multiple freelancing jobs as well.

Moreover, I made a decision to take my blogging into a whole new level by switching to a self-hosted blog. I realized that I want to be serious about blogging that’s why I spent the last few weeks migrating everything from WordPress into new hosting. I just want to say thanks to Jirah of writingsbyjm.com for the advice! You can check Jirah’s self-hosting process article here. For Trisha Velarmino of psimonmyway.com for always inspiring me to pursue professional blogging. And to my friend, Jaecee, who helped me migrate my files. I wouldn’t have done it without you! I owe you a drink, miss.

First of all, if you are seeing this post from the WordPress reader, please comment down below and let me know that it’s still appearing!

Second of all, I’m sorry for bombarding your email with blog notifications from mine. I didn’t know how and why it happened.

By the way, I just bought a theme from themeforest without realizing that it is an HTML theme. So I couldn’t upload it into wordpress.org. I contacted the author and he said it’s still possible only if I convert it to WordPress theme which means coding the stylesheet that I know nothing about. So if you can or if you know someone who can help me, It’ll be greatly appreciated. For now, I’m settled with this cute and free theme; I guess it’s a lesson learned for me.

Life update:

Life is good right now. I’m in a much better place now than I was months ago. It’s also amazing how an inspiration can pop up at 5 in the morning. You know, just when I was about to frown because switching into self-hosted blogging is stressful as hell, I am reminded that no matter how impossible the goal is, the odds go up when you more forward to the the first step to achieve it.

Aside from setting up this blog, writing full-time, and taking multiple jobs, what is making me so happy right now is the development of the book that I am currently writing. As far as my numbers are accurate, I am at 13,000+ words with chapters now! And yes, this is me working to cross ‘To be a published author’ off of my bucket list.

So if I pulled everything off, it seems like backpacking South America is not far from impossible at all. I know I still have so much to know and that it’s nerve-wracking and overwhelming, but I’m learning and working hard.

This is me reminding you that if you just trust who and what you are, the universe will actually support you in miraculous way.

Love always,

Marron

Well, just finished a full week into my new job with a different schedule (Tuesday to Saturday). ‘Twas challenging, but getting good feedback made it all the better!

Welcome back Marron! Congratulations on becoming a full-time writer and working on your first book – I wish you all the very best with that! Also, I did receive loads of notifications from your site a few weeks back which led me to believe your account may have been hacked – was that the case?

Congrats once again and here’s to a long, enjoyable and successful writing career! 😊🙏💛👊🎉

I’m sorry about the bunch of emails! I guess that happened because I happen to install a lot of plugins during the migration process of my blog. Anyway, thank you so much Darell! Here’s to a long, enjoyable, and successful writing career!

Best wishes to you on your writing! Great to see a post from you-it has been awhile. Thank you for stopping by my site. Your name came up in the Reader in the “Sites” column, not under posts. Hope that is helpful.

Hey Timothy! How are you? Stoked that I’m back. I’m writing for a travel website that publishes articles about countries reopening borders for tourism now.

I wonder how it’s like to just drive a car going to your neighboring countries! Haha!

    Another question.

What timezone do you use? My reply says “August 23, 2020 at 10:10 am “. It’s noon here in Belgium (GMT+2, summer time).
